Specializing in deep drawn metal stamping manufacturing services since 1978, Waterbury Contract Eyelets & Stampings, Inc. was contracted by clients from the plumbing industry to construct a series of complex faucet cams to be used within a faucet assembly. Upholding a tight (+-) .0015 precision tolerances, we employed our advanced Platarg transfer press to deep drawn stamp the faucet cams. Each complex part was formed complete in just one operation and was able to meet precise, customer required dimensions. Constructed from stainless steel material, each part measured 1.516 inches in length with a wall thickness of .015 inches. The diameter of each unit tapered down from .624 to .405 inches. Using precision measuring equipment, we tested the cams to ensure they met precise dimensional specifications.
With our deep drawn stamping machinery, we were able to manufacture the complex stainless steel faucet cams complete using just one efficient machining operation, delivering the parts to our international clients based in both China and Mexico.
