Standpipe Systems

A fire hydrant system is the back bone of any water based fire extinguishing system and landing valves play a vital role, wherein the fire brigades can connect their hoses for getting the water connection for fire. The hose valves are found almost everywhere, for example; under the public roads, in large buildings in Tunnels, on Chemical plants, onshore and offshore platforms, on board ships etc.

Sffeco’s Standpipe Systems, i.e. hose valves or landing valves and breeching are designed to be robust, not freeze in harsh environments, and operate in a fire in accordance with fire testing regulations. Some also include a reducing valve to regulate the outlet pressure with a varying inlet pressure which is required in some installations.
