Steam Boiler features a Bi-drum that is used for generating saturated steam and superheated steam. The Superheated steam is widely used for cogeneration or incidental power generation power in industries like Distilleries, Paper, Sugar, Solvent Extraction, Tea, Textiles, Rice, etc. Steam Boiler is fitted with various types of grates as per the availability and capacity of the boiler like Fluidized bed, Pulsating grate, Controlled air combustion, fixed grate, Traveling grate, Dumping grate, chain grate, etc. Dumping or pulsating grate is suitable for burning fibrous & moist fuels that are obtained from industrial wastes and agricultural residues whereas traveling grate is suited for burning low ash fuels in a Steam Boiler.
