Dosage, Feeding & Control

Mercy Steam 6440 is normally fed to supply a corrosion protection for condensate return lines systems.

Mercy Steam 6440 contains a blend of neutralizing amines which will prevent formation of carbonic acid in condensate.

Mercy Steam 6440 can be dosed by a separate dosing pump on the header of the boiler or  with the boiler chemical treatment products on the feed line.

A result of pH = 8.5-9.0 is necessary to be reach in the condensate, but its dosage should not exceed 25 ppm so as to operate under FDA regulations.

Packing

Mercy Steam 6440 is packaged in 25 kg and 200 kg plastic drums.

Safety & Handling

Mercy Steam 6440 is toxic by ingestion.

However is should not be used near food stuffs.

The wearing of gloves and goggles is recommended.
