Contact SupplierSteel Abrasive - Cast Steel Grit is obtained by crushing spherical steel shot. It is produced in three different hardness grades, offering excellent cleaning properties combined with an outstanding surface finish.
Applications:
Surface cleaning (descaling, derusting, fettling)
Pre-enamelling, painting and coating surface preparation
Roughening and matting
Three types of grits as below:ÂÂÂ
1) GP grits with normal hardness ranging from 42-50 HRC. The edges diminish with time. ÂÂÂ
2) GL grits with hardness ranging from 50-60 HRC. The edges diminish with time and become round after few operations. ÂÂÂ
3) GH grits with hardness ranging from 60-66 HRC. Used for marble & granite cuttings and finishing. Being hardened, the edges remain sharp throughout the process and for a longer time.
