Angular cast steel is more aggressive than shot. Service characteristics depend upon hardness selection. Blastline is the exclusive distributor of STEEL SHOT WORKS, UK manufacturer of a range of Eurpean Quality Grits. The hardness of our material is 473 HV in comparison to WA - 487 HV. In other words, we have not hard, but very rigid granules, which operate selectively: they do not wear blast machine parts but clean surface perfectly.
Application
Ideal for aggressive cleaning applications that include preparation of metal surfaces prior to subsequent coating, surface profiling prior to rubber bonding and lining, removal of sand from castings, descaling of bars and strips etc.
