Steel Hex Socket Cap Screws

Rohder Machine and Tool CNC turned these steel hex socket cap screws for use within a hardware application. We manufactured these screws using several methods, including hot forging, CNC turning, and roll threading. The final components featured an outer diameter of 1.50 inches, a hardness of 3840 Rc and a thread of 1-12"-6-2A. We held tolerances down to ±0.002 inches, achieving a maximum material finish of 63 Ra.
