Steel Studs

Accurate Threaded Products is experienced in precision specialty fastener machining and finishing. Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C certified, and we have been serving the manufacturing machinery industries for over 80 years. This precision machined steel stud was produced for a customer in the power generation industry. The stud is 1.01" in diameter by 4.41" long and is used in power generating turbines. By working with our customer, we were able to eliminate the thread rolling process from the original design, saving the customer significant lead time and money.
The stud is machined on a Nakamura precision CNC lathe from AMS 5737 steel. After turning, the stud is deburred, milled, and cleaned via ultrasonic cleaning. The finished studs passed dimensional inspection and met 63 microfinish surface finish criteria per customer specifications.
