Structural Profiles

A structural profile is made in various shapes having a specified cross sectional area to provide support and strength to the area. The shape, size, cross section area, strength, composition and other properties of the profile depend on the type of structure on which they are to be used. The main reason of using the structural profile in the construction process is to increase the strength and make the section stiff enabling it easy to handle heavy load. There are various shapes of profile like I beam, bar shape, rod shape, plate shape, Z shape, HSS shape, Tee shape, SHS shape, Rail profile and open web steel joist. Each of the design is prepared in accordance to the industry standards that are accepted and required in the domestic as well as international industries.
