Graphite and CARBON - Graphite rings with superior self lubricating properties and low wear. These are used in submersible pumps for lifting water from deep water bored wells. Pump parts in CARBON material with higher hardness will enhance abrasion resistance. CARBON rubbing components are widely used in high temperature applications where the presence of liquid lubricants is unaccepatance. Chemical inertness, temperature resistance, lightweight, dimensional stability, impermeability to gases and I iquids, and self-lubricating properties make mechanical grades suitable for some of the most demanding applications. These rings are mould to size or machined to close tolerances.
