Swing Check Valve

Being a member of quarter-turn valves, ball valve has a disc of spherical shape that restricts and allows the flow of liquid. The flow of the liquid is possible when both the ends of the valve are connected to the port. The spherical disc has a hole in the middle through which the fluid passes when the valve is in the open position. As the hole is in the middle and turns perpendicular to the valve’s ends when turned to close position, flow of fluid is blocked.
