Tackifier

Tackifier is a high molecular weight poly olefinic polymer based tackifier.
It imparts excellent tack or stringiness to the lubricating oils and greases. It helps in preventing spattering, dripping and wiping off from surface of the systems. Also it helps to restrict bleeding of lubricants or greases operated at high temperature & high speed due to high tackiness & lubricity. Due to its high level of Tackiness it binds oil molecule even at very high temperature which helps in reducing smoke level during hot processes mainly quenching type applications 

Application:
Tackifier can be used in several industrial lubricants and greases like rust preventives, wire rope lubricants, cable jelly, chain oils, textile machine oils, rock drilling oils, open gear compounds and railroad greases etc.
