Talc, Packaging Type : White

Talc is a clay mineral composed of hydrated
magnesium silicate.
 Filler
 Plastics — increase the stiffness of
products and to impart heat resistance.
 Ceramics — to improve the firing
characteristics and strength of
the finished products.
 Paints — improve the suspension
of solids in the can, whiten and
brighten the paint.
 Papers — smoothen the writing
surface, improve the opacity,
brightness, whiteness and the
papers ability to absorb ink.
 Asphaltic materials
 Lubricant where high temperature is
involved.
Non Hazardous material but avoid prolonged
breathing of dust. Prolonged exposure can
lead to Silicosis. When in contact with eyes,
can cause irritation. Immediately flush eyes
with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
