The Tamarind fruits are in the form of large pods, 10 to 15 cm long, which contains 55% pulp, 33.9% seed and 11.1% shell and fiber. Tamarind seeds are derived from tamarind fruits which is about 1.6 cm in length and 0.7 Cm thick.
