Telwel-A treats high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.
Amlodipine in Telwel-A is used to treat chest pain (angina) and other conditions caused by coronary artery disease. Amlodipine is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
What is Telmisartan in Telwel-A for?

Telwel-A Telmisartan a Vasodilator acts by blocking the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor in many tissues, such as vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland.  Amlodipine is an angioselective calcium channel blocker and inhibits the movement of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells which inhibits the contraction of cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle cells.

Common side effects of Telmisartan in Telwel-A:

Common side effects are feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing, cough, belly pain, high potassium level. Signs include feeling weak, lightheaded, dizzy, feel like passing out, or have numbness or tingling.
