Tetrakis(Hydroxymethyl) Phosphonium Sulfate

Tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium Sulfate-Urea usually referred to as THPS-U.

THPS-U usually a white crystalline solid, soluble in water and some organic solvents.
THPS-U has a unique odor. Not flammable, slightly acidic, corrosive. Easy to biodegrade and environmentally friendly.

• THPS-U as a core flame retardant,by cross-linking with fiber molecules or forming a fire-resistant protective film on the surface, it improves the flame resistance of fabrics and reduces the burning rate and smoke emission.
• THPS-U can be used as a stabilizer in the dye industry，reduce the decomposition and fading of dyes during storage or use, and improve the stability of dyeing effects.

• THPS-U can act as a luminescent agent and fluorescent marker in optoelectronic devices to assist in realizing the optical signal transmission or detection function of the devices.

• Used in industrial circulating water and cooling water treatment systems to inhibit the reproduction of bacteria and microorganisms in water, prevent biological slime from clogging pipelines, and reduce the corrosion of pipelines by microbial metabolites, thereby maintaining the efficient and stable operation of water circulation systems.
