Texwipe(R) Alpha(r) Long Handle Cleanroom Swabs

The Alpha Swab with Long Handle is widely recommended for surface sampling and cleaning validation work - this ultraclean swab provides a neutral background for the sample obtained. This swab can replace typical long-handled cotton swabs in applications requiring superior cleanliness. Also an excellent general purpose swab for cleaning surfaces and hard-to-reach areas.
Its cleanroom laundered, knitted Alpha polyester head is extremely clean and features a double layer for additional body and extra absorbency. Low particle generation and extractable levels. This 100% continuous-filament polyester is heat-molded (thermally bonded), eliminating the need for contaminating adhesives and sealing exposed edges for reduced fiber release. Ultra-low nonvolatile residue and low particle and fiber generation.
A long propylene handle (5.728 in. length) and flexible internal head paddle provide good support. Good absorbency and chemical compatibility. May be sterilized by autoclave.
