Origin:Â Originally from India and China, Jasmine plant was brought to Africa and Europe and since archives suggest its extensive use in Egypt has caused researchers to believe Egypt as its native land.Â
Form:Â Jasmine EO is a medium viscosity oil.Â
Scent:Â The Jasmine EO has a very sharp but pleasant, exotic and bright floral aroma, typical of its flowers!Â
Shade and Appearance:Â The Jasmine EO displays a deep Brown shade with a Golden tinge.Â
Chemical constituents:Â The major components of Jasmin EO are Benzyl Acetate, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Indole, Benzyl Benzoate, Cis-Jasmone, Geraniol, Methyl Anthranilate.Â
Extraction method:Â The Jasmine flowers are treated with Ethyl alcohol and hence solvent-extracted to yield a pleasant smelling Jasmine oil in a concentrated form which is then steam-distilled to obtain Jasmine EO.Â
Gels well with:Â The Jasmine EO can easily be blended with Bergamot, Clary Sage, Clove, Coriander, Ginger, Grapefruit, Lemon, Mandarin, Neroli, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood and Ylang-Ylang oils.Â
