Thermal Transfer Printer

The 345 series desktop thermal transfer printer offers speeds up to 5 ips with 300 dpi resolution. Standard memory is 4 MB FLASH, 8 MB SDRAM and a slot for SD cards which expands FLASH storage to 4 GB. The printer is equipped with a 32 bit microprocessor for fast printing and throughput. The 345 features serial, parallel, USB communication ports standard, as well as an on-board Ethernet LAN option for network installations. Command languages can be flashed into the printer including SPL II, TPLE, PLD and TPLZ. The printer also features internal scalable True Type fonts using the Monotype® font engine. Easy to maintain, the printhead and platen can be replaced within seconds.
The 345 features a user-friendly clamshell design with a large center biased media capacity. It's proven Dual-Motor gear driven design provides enough horsepower to handle 984' ribbons and up to 150' of vinyl tape. Two motors instead of one generate lower torque, more durability and quiet operation. Loading ribbons has never been easier and the 984' capacity is more than three times longer than the industry standard for desktop label printers.
