More specifically, the material is EPS as expandable polystyrene, a stage before the familiar felizol- before steamer.

The materials divide into 2 categories in F and R.

Type  F (FR-EPS, Flame retardant expandable Polystyrene Poly (phenylethene)

• Polystyrene (CAS N° 9003-53-6), containing pentane isomers as blowing agent and abominatedflame retardant.
• Used mainly as raw material for the manufacturing of foamed thermal insulation and foranextensive range of cushioning and insulation packaging.
• The finished goods are produced with amolding process combined with the use of steam
• Pentane (mixed isomers)
