Plastic machine bayonet thermocouples & rtd's, single or duplex type are made up of 4.76 mm or 6-35 mm glass-insulated wires. The hot junction is embedded in the end of a stainless steel or brass chrome plated protecting type for fast response. The tube is fitted with a stainless steel spring-loaded bayonet fitting. A rugged stainless steel flexible braided, connector for easy attachment to junction box protects lead wires. Individual lead wires are easily connected to a terminal strip by means of sturdy spade lugs. Flexobraid (india) plastic machine bayonet thermocouples & rtd's are available in different styles: type a-straight type; type b-45 angle type and type c-90 angle type. Adjustable bend, or straight or spiral type which it helps to adjust it in different depth. This popular configuration is stocked for immediate delivery.

if there is a temperature gradient in an electrical conductor, the energy (heat) flow is associated with an electron flow along the conductor and an electromotive force (emf), is then generated in that region. Both the size and direction of the emf are dependent on the size and direction of the temperature gradient itself and on the material forming the conductor. The voltage is a function of the temperature difference along the conductor length. So, in a practical thermocouple temperature, sensor the trick is to join material having different thermoelectric emf temperature characteristics in order to produce a usable net electron flow and detectable net output voltage.
The temperature - emf characteristics have thermocouple conductor combination like k, t, j, n, e, r, s, b etc.
