Thread Protector

Thread protector is usually installed on the end of casing pipe and it plays the role in protecting the thread of casing pipe when casing pipe is removed in drilling and well repairing work. It can cut down the consumption and reduce operating cost. And part of the product is made from nanometer material. It offers reliable performance and it is easy to install and dismantle. So its using value is very high.
Thread protector can be divided into two kinds: quick release thread protector and inflatable thread protector. Both of them are used to protect the thread of pipe, but they are different in structure.
Quick release thread protector is composed of three parts: main body, link stopper and compressor bar. They are all made from polyurethane, making quick release thread protector resistant to oil, abrasion and corrosion. This kind of thread protector is widely used to protect rubber hose in the handling and transportation process.
Inflatable thread protector can be divided into two kinds: dismountable inflatable thread protector and integrated inflatable thread protector. Both of them are composed of two parts: pneumatic tire and outer shell. The pneumatic tire of dismountable inflatable thread protector can be taken out from outer shell and this is the difference between the two kinds of inflatable thread protector. Pneumatic tire is made from nitrile rubber and outer shell is made from polyurethane. And the outer shell of dismountable inflatable thread protector contains a steel shell, which is made from 20# steel. Inflatable thread protector is resistant to abrasion and corrosion and it has beautiful appearance.
