Thread Setting Plug Gages

Standard Set Plugs – Our standard thread setting plugs (made in the USA) are truncated (unless otherwise requested) and are adjustable and manufactured to an “X” tolerance per ANSIASME B1.2. We also offer an array of UNS specialty thread set plugs and standard metric set plugs with delivery time that rivals the industry! Thread setting plugs serve the purpose of setting re-setting an adjustable thread ring gage to the proper size, as well as inspecting the ring for wear. Set plugs have a common pitch diameter for the full thread length of the GO or NOGO section.
We certify our gages to meet or exceed all published specifications and are traceable to the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), and in compliance with (ISO) 10012-1 and ANSINCSL Z540-1. Uncertainties have been estimated at a 95% confidence level (K=2). Environmental controls are monitored to maintain 68 degree F and 50% maximum humidity. When necessary we offer ISO 17025, A2LA Calibrations through our 3rd party laboratories.
