Carmex Thread-Turning product line is recognized worldwide for its full range of high quality laydown triangular inserts answering to most of the thread standards. Two types of inserts are offered. The main are ground profile and chip breaker inserts, delivering high quality threads, offered in a big variety of grades and coatings to fit all manufacturing purposes. Within this range we offer also Ultra - Miniature and Miniature inserts for threading bores as small as 6mm diameter, Vertical (on edge) inserts, Multitooth inserts and U Type inserts. The second is for the Type-B inserts, a combination of ground profile and sintered chip-breaker threading inserts. Unlike most other manufacturers' inserts, this combination ensures consistent high quality thread, precise shape and dimensions while ensuring the chip flow. Two different unique styles of chip-breaker were designed to suit the different specific requirements of Internal threads and External threads.
Type-B inserts are offered in one grade, BMA, for general use. Carmex expands the Type B line by offering a new size 11 mm (1/4") internal thread turning inserts, including a wide range of thread profiles and pitches. BLU - a new sub-micrograin grade with PVD triple layer coating, The BLU grade provides a combination of very high strength with high wear resistance. Carmex introduces HBA , a new extra-fine sub-micron grade with high toughness for optimized performance :
