    We supply tiger nuts, whole nut or crushed. Tiger nut is a natural vitality enhancing earth nut. It is a grass-like plant from the Savanna Northern part of Ghana. It has cylindrical tubers and comes in several species. The nuts may be black, brown or yellow. Esculentus Cyperus Species are mostly used for milk, juice and baking. They enhance the intestines by getting rid of the impurities. This species contains a good quantity of Vitamin B which assists in balancing the central nervous system. It helps the body to adapt to stress. It also supplies the body with enough quantity of Vitamin E which is very essential for fertility in both men and women. It is excellent for Colitis and assists in digestion. In China, Esculentus Cyperus is used as a liver tonic, heart stimulant, serious stomach pain, promote normal menstruation and to heal mouth and gum ulcers. It is also used in Ayurvedic medicines and is a powerful aphrodisiac or sexual stimulant.

    • Cyperus Esculentus promotes the production of urine. This is why it is a preventive antidote for cyst, prostate, hernia, rectum deformation. It prevents endometriosis or fibrosis as well as blockade of the tip of the fallopian tube.
    • THE Black Species of the tiger nut family is an excellent medicine for breast lumps and cancer – any type of internal laceration and inflammation. It can be used as eye compressor and to bandage wounds.
    • THE Chufa variety is widely used all over Africa. Chufa is rich in fibre. It has 20-30 percent tiger-nut oil which is nourishing to the epidermis. It nullifies hard-knots in the stomach and acts as a coolant to hot flushes associated with menopause. The high fibre content of Chufa makes it a wonderful colon evacuator and cleanser.
