DESCRIPTION
Perma Wide Tile Joint Grout is a polymer modified cementitious material in powder form which just needs addition of water and mixing to form a smooth consistency paste which is suitable for filling wide joints in tiling whether in horizontal or vertical tiling jobs. The product is suitable for indoor application as well as exterior applications. This product makes the wide joints in tiles and stones aesthetically appealing and makes them waterproof. Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler is not only useful in joint filling in new tiling or cladding works but is of excellent utility in repairs and renovation of old structures.
PRIMARY USES

Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler is used in filling joints between fixed tiles, boards, architectural tiles, paving blocks and natural stones which are of 3mm to 12mm wide.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Ensure that the tile joints are clean and dry. Blow out any dust or dirt from the joints. Mix Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler with clean water in the proportion of 3.5 volumes of powder to 1 volume of water. Mix till a uniform consistency smooth paste of uniform colour is obtained. Leave the paste for 10 minutes in the pan for the entrapped air if any to escape and remix the paste. If the colour of the paste does not match with indicated shade of the shade card remix it till the shade close to the shade card shade is obtained. Apply the paste liberally into the joints with a putty blade and even out the paste in the joint. After 3 to 4 hours, wipe out the excess Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler from the tiles with a wet sponge. Grout the tile joints with Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler after 24 hours of tile laying. For better results the use of an admixture like Perma Bond Repair or Acrylic Bond Repair is recommended.

        
COVERAGE
Coverage depends on the width and depth of the joint to be grouted, which needs to be calculated. For the sake of calculation one Kg powder produces 500 ml of paste for grouting the joints.

Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler is available in 10 kg & 25 kg Bag.
SHELF LIFE
Perma Wide Tile Joint Filler has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in manufacturer’s original packing in a cool and dry place away from moisture and heat.
