Tilt Level Switch

Protocontrol make tilt switch is specially developed for sensing the level of material heavy solids in hopper. It also find application on stacker raclaimer for positioning of the boom. .tilt switch gives output when material touches the tilt probe. This output is used to lift the boom to next step. When fitted in hopper, gives output when tilt probe gets tilted when material level reaches the specified level.
the tilt switch comprises of two parts, sensor probe & monitoring unit. The sensor probe is tabular structure & is hanged by means of a chain link arrangement. When the tilt probe gets tilted by material the output relay gets actuated.
the sensor probe of the unit has omni directional sensing pattern & hence on whichever side it tilts, it definitely provides an output signal. Tilt switch has in built adjustable on & off delays to take care of the nuisance tripping due to wind flow or momentary jerks the start and stop of the machine.
the probe is fabricated from heavy solid material and hence it can well be used in heavy material like lime stone, minerals & clinker. supply for control unit is either 110 240 v ac. Output is in the form of 2 c o relay contact rated for 5 amps. Resistive, at 240 vac. Enclosure for control unit is weather proof ip65.
