Reliable Plating Corp. provides bright tin plating or dull (matte) tin plating used in electronic applications for solderability and conductivity. It is also used for food related items. Reliable's matte tin plating is alloyed with Bismuth, minimizing development of "Tin Pest" and "Tin Whiskers" which are a concern in pure tin deposits.
Bright Tin plating, in addition to its attractive appearance, offers an increase in corrosion and tarnish resistance. Tin plating is RoHS, ELV and WEEE compliant.

WEEE refers to the "Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive"
ELV refers to the "End of Life Vehicles Directive"
