Factory tint", done at the time of manufacture is generally not an applied film, but instead is done by dying the inside of the glass with a darkened pigment; an electrical process known as "deep dipping." The pigment gives the glass a tint, but doesn't provide UV ray protection or heat rejection like most window films do.
