Titanium Dioxide (Rutile) is a mineral composed primarily of Titanium dioxide TiO2. It is the natural form of the TiO2 it has more two rarer forms of Ti02 known as anatase and brooktie. It is found in large quantities of beach sand with ore and other minerals. It is mainly used in manufacture of refractory ceramic, as a pigment and for production of titanium metal.
