Success of perfect and reproducible disperse dyeing on polyester heavily depends upon maintaining constant ph {in weakly acid region of 4.5 to 5.5} throught the dyeing cycle . Acetic acid being volatile it is not able to maintain the ph throughout the process in polyester dyeing. Hence, sometimes reproducibility is hampered. Tki ab fulfills this requirement aptly. Tki ab maintains the ph at the time of polyester dyeing process. Unlike conventional {acetic} acid it is non volatile and does not escape in open vessel. Tki ab can be used for batch and continuous process.
