This is a dairy goat that is Swiss since it comes from the Toggenburg Valley in Switzerland. They are known too for being the oldest among dairy goat breeds. Its size is medium and it has a sturdy appearance. It is a bit smaller than the rest of the Alpine breeds and it can weigh at least 120 lbs. Its hair color can range from light fawn to dark choco. It also has some white marks in various spots. They can live best in conditions that are cold. They also have ideal development of udders with high production of milk content.
