TOKO BRAND CHS022 (AWS E316L-16) is a lime-titanium type electrode for extra-low carbon stainless. The weld metal shows very good resistance of heat, corrosion and cracking due to the carbon content in it is≤0.04%. It is mainly used in containers in chemical industries as well as fabrication of structures made by similar stainless steels (00Cr18Ni12Mo).
Before welding, the weld must be clear away impurities, such as oil, rust, moisture etc.,and the less than 2.5 times of diameter of the electrode is better.
