1. High s content, good toughness properties, good wear resistance
2. Uniform hardness in all dimensions, dimensional stability
3. Requiring no heat treatment, 280 - 325 hb hardened and tempered condition, suitable for nitriding
applications:
1. Medium and large sized moulds for plastic processing,
2. Dies of light alloys with low melting point, mould fittings, mould frames for the injection moulding and
die casting industries, compenents for general mechanical engineering,
3. Tools for synthetic plastics processing, die holders, support plates, casings, chases, recipient sleeves,
constructional parts, hyrdo forming tools.

quenching media : oil, salt bath, vacuum
hardness after quenching : 50 - 54 hrc
hardness after tempering : 100 °c 200 °c 300 °c 400 °c
