tourmaline is a kind of silicate minerals boron-aluminum with boron-containing characterized and
aluminum, sodium, iron, lithium cyclic structure. The chemical formula is
nar3al6[si6o18](bo3)3(oh)4. Tourmaline's process name is known as "tourmaline (chinese
name is "bixi")", gem-quality tourmaline collectively referred to as "tourmaline (bixi)". Because of the
colorful, transparent and flawless loved by the people, ranking first in the list of mid-range gems.
Tourmaline colors with different components, iron-rich tourmaline is black, rich in lithium, manganese
and cesium is rosy or light blue; magnesium-rich tourmaline is often in brown and yellow, chromium-
rich is in dark green tourmaline. Tourmaline has a vitreous luster, no cleavage, the hardness is 7.0-7.5
with brittle, the proportion is 3.03-3.25g/cm3, has piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties. The

【the usage of tourmaline】
tourmaline has unique physical and chemical properties of the piezoelectric and pyroelectric
