Technical Features

KALA KTM-130: Tractor mounted Rigs are specially designed for fast & cost effective drilling, economical alternative to crawler mounted drill. The drill is capable of drilling 102-115 mm dia holes up to a depth of 130 feet in Blast hole drilling using down the hole Hammer and bits.

MAST: Heavy duty drilling mast fabricated out of robust welded sections & designed for vibration free and continuous duty conditions.

Rotary Head: Piston type air motor with spur type heavy duty gear box

Feed Unit: Piston type air motor with spur-cum-worm type gear box

STABILISER: During drilling, entire load of the unit is shifted on to three hydraulic jacks provided. Desired set up of the unit is achieved by individual/separate leveling control through hydraulic directional control valves guided by a spirit level indicator to obtain desired setup in rough terrain. Additional Double check valve is incorporated in the hydraulic system as extra safety measures.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: The source of power is drawn from Tractor prime mover to operate hydraulic pump of adequate capacity for actuating hydraulic stabilizers, raising/lowering of mast.

OPTIONAL SPECIAL TROLLEY: If desired, a double axled special trolley (with articulate front axle) can be manufactured & supplied by us at extra cost to conveniently house compressor, diesel tank for entire unit, drill tubes and other accessories and allied items, which can be towed by the KTM-130 Tractor Mounted Drill
