Precautions Pulley Width The Pulley Width should be wider than the Belt Width as per the following recommendations:

• Upto and including 125 mm +13 mm
• from 125mm to 250mm +25 mm
• from 250mm to 375mm +38 mm and so on.

So as to tighten the fasteners on inspection at regular intervals and replace if any fastener shows signs of failure before the fastener becomes completely useless and tears the belt.
