Transport Chain - Grade 70 Grade 70 was designed specifically to provide a light, yet strong chain for binding, tie-downs, towing, and construction use. Made from a variety of medium carbon and alloy materials. This grade of chains strength to weight ratio exceeds that of proof coil (grade 30) and high test (grade 43) chain. Induction heat treated, Grade 70 transport chain meets all requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT), CCMTA, & CVSA for truck tie-down use. Transport chain has a yellow zinc chromate finish. NOT APPROVED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING!
