Introduction: Triptorelin Acetate Injection is a pharmaceutical product used to manage various medical conditions related to hormone imbalances. The injection contains the active ingredient Triptorelin Acetate, which is a synthetic hormone analog of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Mechanism of Action: The active ingredient, Triptorelin Acetate, acts as an agonist of GnRH. GnRH is a hormone produced in the hypothalamus of the brain and plays a central role in controlling the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland. By mimicking the actions of GnRH, Triptorelin initially stimulates the pituitary gland to release LH and FSH. However, with continued administration, it leads to downregulation and desensitization of GnRH receptors, resulting in reduced secretion of LH and FSH.
