Trivalent Passivation

Trivalent passivation is required to provide corrosion protection; for this purpose chromium passivation is used. The life of trivalent chrome passivation bath is reduced with respect to the accumulation of iron and zinc impurities resulting from the processed parts.It is possible to purify the bath by removing the metallic ions as the recovered bath can be recycled back in to the process.
