Tube Pointing Machine

These machines point the ends of the tubes which are clamped in Draw Benches for pulling the tubes through the drawing dies and plugs. Unlike other methods of pointing here the tube elongates thus allowing a considerable material saving. The points are concentric and straight and the length can be infinitely variable depending upon the pulling force of the Draw Bench. At the shoulder, the point thickens, hence it is very strong and rarely breaks during drawing, improving draw bench yields. The machines are available for variety of tubes both ferrous and non ferrous . The machines for non ferrous are 4, 6 or 8 die to produce a very small point adequate to impart heavy reductions during drawing .
