The instrument is developed for the tubing & casing running work in the oil construction site to control make up torque of the tubing. With the help of this instrument, we monitor the process, collect the torque data & curves and make analysis of make-up torque quality to provide you with the detailed and important data ensuring the safe operation and curbing the potential accidents.
work principle
without changing the structure of the hydraulic tongs of the well team in the oilfield, the counter force of hydraulic tong tail is measured by dedicated high-precision ergo metric sensor. After signal acquisition, digital-to–analogue conversion, data processing and conversion of the measuring system, the thread torque value of the casings is determined and displayed. By pre-set api and the best thread torque value of casings, the electromagnetic relief valve of tong hydraulic power takes control over the thread torque of the casing with alarm alerting the operators to stop make-up.
