Relicell Tubular Batteries have a long cyclic life span (more than 1000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge), high specific energy and low self-discharge rate. Initial Charging And Filling Instructions :

• Fill battery grade sulphuric acid in all the cells upto the specified levels.

• Acid specific gravity should be 1.250 0.005 at 27^o C.

• Charge to be initiated after at least 4 hours of initial soaking period.

• Charge the batteries with constant current as indicated in the table until battery voltage reaches above 15.6 V and for a minimum of 12 hours.

• Full charged specific gravity should be adjusted to 1.2500.005 at 27^o C.

• Ensure that the cell temperature never goes beyond 45^oC during charging. If it goes higher reduce the rate and continue charging.
