Turmeric Root Oil

Turmeric is known for its properties to give you a healthy and beautiful skin, especially in Indian and South-East Asian regions. The turmeric oil is extracted through the steamed distillation process of the rhizome (underground roots). Turmeric oil has a spicy tinge, slightly greenish yellow color and a ginger like aroma.
Aromatherapy uses turmeric oil as a stimulant and a relaxing agent. The essential oil carries anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and is very strongly recommended to arthritis patients for massages. Usually it is mixed with other oils because of its strong aroma.

This usage yields excellent results to give you a skin free of pigmentations, dryness, spots and different kinds of allergies. It also prevents wrinkles, removes facial hair and tightens the loose skin and can provide wonderful results when mixed with other beneficial oils like almond oil and coconut oil.
