Turned Air Filter Assembly

Signal Machine Company was requested by a food processing automation client to manufacture an air filter assembly for use in food processing plants. Due to the fact that this part was to be employed in a food processing application, we had to manufacture this assembly to the same standards as other food processing instruments.
Using our advanced machining processes, which included CNC milling, CNC turning, welding, drilling, and tapping, we manufactured this air filter assembly from SS316 steel to measure approximately 3 inches in diameter and 10 inches in length. Maintaining a (+-) .01 of an inch precision tolerance, we were able to produce this assembly to meet both food processing standards and customer specifications. We now build 100 units annually for this client, delivering all finished air filter assemblies to our buyer's facility in Philadelphia.
