Turritella Agate (Elimia agate) comes from the Green River Formation in southwestern Wyoming, northeastern Utah, and northwestern Colorado. Formed in deposits in an series of ancient lakes called Lake Gosiute and Lake Uinta. Lapidary pieces are highly silicified and take a nice polish.
