How  the  Twin  Family  Works :

• General
  
  • The  Twin  Family  filter  is  based  on  the  up-down  cartridge  technology,  which  simulates  the  manual  cleaning  discs  action. 
  • This  filtration  modular  is  an  automatic,  modular  device  especially  designed  for  high  flow  rates.  It  can  be  installed  either  vertically  or  horizontally  to  fit  the  request  of  pump  room.  With  precise  POM-made  grooved  discs,  Twin  Family  filtration  modular  can  provide  huge  flow  rate  and  accurate  filtration  result.
  • Now,  Twin  Family  filter  can  cover  a  wide  range  of  agricultural,  municipal,  and  industrial    applications  with  130  micron  filtration  degree.  More  degrees  are  developing  as  request  from  different  applications Each  filter  modular  contains  10  automatic  disc  cartridges  in  the  twin  tanks.  Around  240  pcs  of  discs  are  stacked,. 
  • These  thin  discs  are  Gould  with  radial  pattern  grooves  in  crosswise  pattern  on  both  sides to achieve  designed  micron  size.  After  compressed  on  cartridge  with  spring  aided,  these  discs  form  circular  column  and  inside  grooves  form  tridimensional  interception,  who  can  stop  all  suspended  solids  bigger  thermicon  size.
• The  Filtration  Process
  
  • With  spring  aided  on  cartridge,  all  discs  are  compressed  into  one  piece  of  column.  This  column  structure  with  its  surface  and  internal  crosswise  grooves  guarantee  accurate  filtration  grade  and  without  any  breakthroughs.  Suspended  solids  of  water  are  intercepted  on  and  between  the  discs  when  water  passing  from  column’s  outer  to  its  inner  path.

• The  back-washing  Process
  
  • With  intercepted  solids  accumulating,  the  pressure  differential  rises  up  to  a  pre-set  level,then  triggers  the  action  of  back-washing  through  controller.  The  hydraulic  valves  connected  with  filter  modular  converses  water  flow  direction.  The  other  working  modulars  supplies  clean  water  to  back-washing  modular.
  • The  reversed  water  pressure  rise-up  the  cartridge  cap  and  loose  the  discs,  three  vertical  lines  of  tangential  jets  at  high  velocity  through  the  cartridge  nozzles  start  to  drive  discs  to  rotate.  As  discs  are  free,  the  solids  at  the  disc  edge  and  between  are  throw  out  of  modular.
  • The  back-washing  rotating  is  very  quick  about  25-40  seconds.  Thus,  the  back-washing  flow  is  less  than  500  liters. 
  • One  modular  completes  back-washing,  the  second  will  continue  and  so  on,  until  last  one.  The  system  comes  back  to  filtration  mode  and  all  discs  come  back  to  completely  clean  status.
  • Controller  can  work  by  combination  of  time-interval  and  DP  sensor.
  • Twin  Family  Modules  and  Battery Twin in  Family  filter  is  module  system,  which  can  be  assembled  as  many  modules  as  the  client  needs.
  • The  filter  battery  is  ready  for  use,  which  is  constructed  and  tested  in  the  factory  before  delivery.  .

Details :

• A  Twin  Family  filter  battery  normally  contains  from  3  to  10  modules,  which  can  cover  500-2000  m³/h  filtration  capacity.  The  filter  battery  can  be  installed  either  horizontally  or  vertically.  The  battery  is  comprised  from  filter  modules,  back-washing  valve  assemblies,  manifolds  of  inlet/outlet/drainage,electric  control  system.  All  of  them  are  standard  products  in  the  factory.  Only  qualified  battery  will  be  delivered  to  dealer/client  after  pressure  testing.
• Maximum  operating  pressure  and  temperature  needs  to  consult  factory  or    authorized  dealer  for  specific  parameters.
  For  higher  flow  rates  and  larger  manifold  sizes  and  control  method  are  available.  Please  consult  factory  or    authorized  dealer.
  Recommend  to  install  pressure  quick  relief  valve  before  Twin  Family  Filtration  Battery  even  frequency  convertor  has  been  installed  correctly.
