The batteries are available across the country through the excellent after sales and service arm of the scottech Group. The high end VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) batteries are called scottech smf and are the latest technology in Lead Acid batteries, the Plates are special grade of Calcium in both positives and Negatives. These batteries have the ability to recombine the hydrogen and Oxygen inside the battery itself – therefore there is very little water loss. Dangerous gases are not emitted into the atmosphere so these batteries are more environment friendly. Scottech smf Batteries are specially factory charged and sealed making them totally spill proof, totally tamper proof and totally maintenance free.  Maintenance Free Batteries are made from Lead Antimony and Lead Calcium. The calcium alloy is special grade which gives ultra low water loss and hence increasing the life and performance of the battery. At present scottech is offering Maintenance Free batteries in 2 wheeler segment in all the variants (on the basis of Ah).  The power Batteries are the Conventional flooded batteries, and are also made of plates made from Lead Antimony and Lead Calcium. The composition of the alloys results in low water loss and hence results in long life of battery.  All the 2 types of batteries- power and sealed Maintenance Free are available in all the 3 sizes, i.e 2.5 Ah, 5.0 Ah and 9.0 Ah. Features :
