b) It is the ONLY ONE to have a penetration of 5 metres of underground depth

point of the cable(which is not possible to find generally) to transmit and receive the signal.

d) The decibel of the buzz depends upon the magnitude of current. More the current, shriller is the buzz.

e) Unlike the above you can start detecting the cable from any point in the middle of the road. You need not search for the 

starting point.

Just walk with the Locator ON moving right and left; if you hear the beep, the cable lies just under the sensor.
