Unisperse 731 is a new solution form of a highly effective dispersing agent for pigments in aqueous systems. Good dispersion, of course, is necessary in emulsion paint to get good hiding,flow and leveling properties.
Outstanding Properties:
Unisperse 731 is a highly active, light-colored dispersing agent for pigments in aqueous systems. Used in small quantities,(0.25 to 0.5%) it gives excellent dispersions. Stability towards heat is excellent, it is very effective in the pH range of 9.0 to 9.5.
Solubility:
Unisperse 731 is supplied at 25% solids in water. Normally, it is convenient to reduce it to 10% solids for use in dispersing pigments. At this concentration it is easily mixed into the pigment system for maximum dispersing effect. The 25% solution of Unisperse 731 freezes at approximately -2ËšC,but freezing does not harm the dispersing characteristics of the product.
